Bolt run away
The world athletics lost one of its icons from competing in August when Usain Bolt said goodbye to the queen of sports in London. The brilliant shortdistance Jamaican sprinter – expect for him no one has ever won three Olympic gold medals each on 100 or 200 meters, and no one could be world champion eleven times – made it clear a year ago that he would finish his career as a sprinter during the summer of 2017.
Of course it was difficult to accept that the best athlete of all times would definitively take off his running shoes at the age of 30. His career began at the Youth World Championship organized in Hungary in 2001 where he could not make it to get in the finals on 200m but then he has avoided to be defeated for almost one and a half decades.
The king of sprinters is no longer running.
God bless you Bolt!
